- Binder: Brazilian
- Filler: Honduran & Dominican
- Strength: Bold

I’ve been dying to try this smoke. One Monday night after too long of a day I found myself at the Cave with about 4 asst. sticks I’ve been meaning to smoke but instead found myself drawn to the 15,000 cigar humidor anyways. After about 5 minutes of laps back and forth in the humidor, I kept coming back to the Liga Privada No. 9.
Something about this just ‘feels’ right in the hand. Like a warm gemstone this cigar has soul!
Drew Estate ACID Atom Maduro
Facts:
- Country: Nicaragua
- Shape: Robusto
- Wrapper: Nicaraguan Maduro
- Binder: Nicaragua
- Filler: Nicaragua
- Strength: Medium to Full bodied
- Size: 5 x 50
about $6 each
Time to dabble a bit again in the highly interesting ACID line.
The tip has a fresh hey smell while the foot has more of a cedar, woodsy smell.
The foot on this stick is not cut clean as per usual. Instead the wrapper leaves are folded over the filler and tamped flat. If there is a name for this style, please let me know in the comments.
Drew Estate JAVA Toro Maduro
Facts:
- Country: Nicaragua
- Wrapper: Brazil, Connecticut
- Binder: Nicaragua
- Filler: Nicaragua
- Strength: Mild to medium
- Size: 6 x 50
The JAVA line is a collaboration between Drew Estates’ Johnathon Drew & Rocky Patel. Very gently java flavored by exposing the whole leaves before rolling to the coffee as opposed to the more traditional ‘flavoring’ techniques such as infusion as in Drew Estates ACID line. This results in a smoke the is more traditional tasting and not “flavored” per se’.
